So much for employer references: a London-area hospital has hurriedly suspended its chaplain upon being informed by the police that he is an Islamic extremist kicked out of his own mosque. Yet hospital officials may have ignored earlier warnings.
Until three days ago, 30-year-old Usman Ali, a former member of the banned Islamist group al-Muhajiroun, led prayers for NHS staff at Woolwich's Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Previously, Mr Ali had shown children at his local mosque clips of planes smashing into the twin towers while chanting "God is great" - a practice that earned him a lifetime ban from entering the building.
Hospital staff claim they knew nothing of Mr Ali's checkered past until police informed them. But mosque trustees who obtained a court order against him say they warned hospital officials months ago.

A classic example of PC bureaucratic fear : both the hiring and the "firing".
The hiring : how proud the HR folks must have been with their open-minded, free-thinking new appointee. Radical chic, this........(" we got ourselves a muslim vicar !!")
The "firing" : No,that's unfair, not a firing ; just a change in contract...is he now a "spiritual consultant" ??!! Pay-offs and court cases beckon...

How easy it is for extremist elements to play the system , especially in the public sector. Normal standards do not seem to apply to muslims as state channels attempt to indulge their multicultural,segregated inclusivity agenda. Meanwhile, muslims who do not see their faith as a 100% definition of who they are ,are being pigeon-holed ( as per my previous sentance ).
Tough times....
