A three month investigation by News of the World newspaper has reportedly found that several Asian lawyers in the East End are willing to provide fake passports to British Muslims involved in terrorist activity. One lawyer, Mohmmed Kutub Uddin from the Syed Shaheen law firm, agreed to provide a fake Bangladeshi passport, telling an undercover reporter who was posing as a "terrorist on the run":
"I can give my last drop of blood for Islam. Jihad is the sixth pillar of Islam. They ruled us for 200 years. They made this country by sucking the blood of the Muslims. Now I want to help my people!"
Uddin - who said that he taught Islam to children in his spare time - also allegedly told the journalist that he should de-fraud British banks and use the proceeds to fund terrorism. He said:
"I know some people in Lloyds TSB. I can open you a bank account. It will cost you £600. First you run it nicely then after six months you take out a loan for £30,000 and just go!"
Grinning broadly, he urged: "Send the money to help our brothers!"
Another lawyer approached by the undercover reporter, now posing as an illegal immigrant, said that he could forge documents to help him stay in Britain. Sajjad Hussain from the Thames Chambers Solicitors, told him:
"We'll make papers for you ... Have you got any friends who will say they have known you here for 10, 12 years? We'll write it, they just have to sign it. We charge £2,000."
A video recording showing some of the exchanges between Uddin and the undercover reporter is available online at the News of the World's website.

In his conclusion to a paper describing the necessity of laying mines in neutral Norwegian waters to prevent Sweedish Iron ore reaching Germany during the winter of 39/40, Winston Churchill wrote:
In our case and modern time it is only when one regards the violent military, terrorist Jihad and the quiet infiltration and re-education Jihad as part of the same whole that we find violent Jihad tearing up all our laws and quiet Jihad sheltering behind our innate respect for our own laws.
