Ramjanally, who leads an Islamic community
group, said that two men visited his home, kidnapped him at knifepoint, put him
in the boot of a car and drove him to Epping Forest in Essex. He was then
warned not to continue his work with the Islamic group. He has also claimed
that on 2 July, he received an anonymous letter which said that: 'We don't want you to carry on
at this. We know which school your kid goes to and which car you drive.' The
next day, an alleged arson attack took place against his home.
The
BNP are active in Ramjanally's town, having four councillors in the area.
